To those who say telecasters are not fit for heavy music, prepare to eat your words.
I’m sure by now you’re picking up on an overriding theme in my music taste; jagged and pissed off. This was one of the many excellent Australian bands I discovered after moving away from the sunburnt land. They’ve gone on to evolve their sound into a noisier beast since this release, but this one sticks with me. If you want fast with a finishing touch of anthemic dissonance, listen to ‘Paradise of Blood.’ If you want slow and crushing, listen to the first half of ‘Bastardized Harvest/Spring in the Badlands.’
