Cloud Rat – Pollinator (Artoffact Records – 2019)
Here’s a new one for a change. This band has been on my radar for some years, but never reeled me in for repeat listens. But when I heard the single ‘Webspinner’ I knew this was going to be a release that speaks to me. It still blows me away that a three piece band can make this much impact and flies in the face of every person that says two guitars or even a bassist is needed in all bands. I also love seeing women in music where their purpose is not some thinly veiled sex marketing tool. This is grind that transcends.
