I mentioned these guys last week and figured it was time to feature this beautiful release. There’s so much space here, every moment has a chance to inhale then hit you with the force of the next exhale. The guitars and bass aren’t particularly distorted, just incredibly loud. Like you can hear the speakers struggling to keep up with the weight of the riffs. It’s the sound of desperation. Scott Evans (vocalist, guitarist and engineer) really hit it out of the park on this one. I had hoped to see KWC during this summer on their European run, but the stars didn’t align. Let’s hope the next chance isn’t so far off.
