Not to be confused with the smorgasbord of Northern European artists under the same name, YLVA come from the cultural hub of Australia, Melbourne. This album oozes so much vibe I was shocked the first time I heard it. Even more shocked to realise while researching this that the brain behind YLVA fronted one of my other favourite bands from Australia, Coerce. Thank you, Mike Deslandes. If you dig on the sludge/post/doom-whatever of bands like Sâver then this is right up your alley. All I can suggest is put this on from start to finish with some crappy weather outside and raise your invisible orange to the sky.
