It’s nothing new to include film samples in grind, but for my tastes, no one does it as well as Graf Orlock. Once they even went as far to make their own film/album based on a Canadian assassin being sent back in time to kill politicians and ensure Canada becomes a superpower. This is my gift to you. They might not be reinventing the musical wheel, but I think their hardcore background (guitarist plays in Dangers) gives a freshness to their riffing. Just like grind and all my previous articles, I’m not going to overstay my welcome, I’m just here to put this delicious pie on your doorstep.
